Word classes - adjectives

 

In this paragraph, we're going to talk about adjectives. Adjectives say something about a noun. A beautiful girl.

You can multiple adjectives in front of a noun. A small, red, Dutch apple. We are going to talk about in which order you have to place the adjectives in a sentence (opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material) and about camparative and superlative (degrees of comparison) adjectives, which learns you about how you can use adverbs to compare things.

 

The assignment:

Step 1: Go to the Magister ELO and watch the videos about "adjectives" (videos 31 upto and including 32) on the ELO whilst taking notes in your notebook.

 

Step 2: Read the information on the website below. Have youn learnt something that wasn't in the video? Write down your notes in your notebook.
